I am excited for this. At first I was worried. “worried” that we’d see more ads and in fact Tumblr would turn purple and start integrating all these kewl yahoo features. But I am excited. Hopefully they’ll be able to staff tumblr more. In this way they will influence the roadmap. Perhaps we’ll finally have a good messaging system, and perhaps if someone hacks your shit and hits the delete button, they will have a way to restore it. I cannot believe you can lose everything on a top-25 site with the click of one button, instantly.

At worst, we’ll all migrate to some other platform, slowly, as we always do. Tumblr’s been my e-home for over four years.

I’m not sure that pictures of the Points of Interest in the surrounding area of my target is too relevant. It feels a bit too hip. You can click on a road to get its address, but I think it’ll end up irritating me more than helping me. After all, I really just want directions from x to y, and as far as that goes, it’s gotten better at doing that.

I hate gen 4+. This is what I’m doing.

I think this is so funny. The camera’s flipping around for 15 seconds as this guy stands outside, I guess showing that he’s part of this expansive world, ready to present a new frontier of learning?

I wonder what the video editor was thinking as he made the first 15 seconds of what you’ve clicked on. (I started it at 22 seconds) Like if in video-editing-school this is some important technique. What’s funny is that this loaded on my recently posted video that has the same feel to it: “deep philosophical video”. I made it through about 90 seconds of this guy.

My blog is starting to feel like me laughing at the world around me from a dark, lonely room in my house. I think my attitude is unattractive to most people. Mayhaps people just aren’t as judgmental as I am. I think that aids in how strongly they’ll feel about my attitude; mostly I don’t take the criticism as more than poking fun, like I am now.

I love criticism and debate, and believe that without contraries would be no progression. I hope anyone that has any criticism for me, in any aspect of my life, would come out and say it, to make sure neither of us is living or thinking wrongly. Perhaps I use too many commas? Perhaps you hate GAM3 as a name for the engine? All aboard the meanyface train.

Hey folks, just wanted to say I’ve started work on my new personal site, and technically speaking, it’s mostly done. That technical is literal; the site is functioning very well and all I need to do is add some text size-scaling. My primary focus now is rewriting a large portion of the content from my current site, and writing some new. It’s incredible how much I’ve progressed with writing since I first wrote the MurCity/MonBre blurbs on the current vaelvictus.com.

I’m really pleased with this new site. :}
