Anyone have any ideas on how to humanely kill a goldfish? Or maybe 11 goldfish?

Well, that depends on the era you’re willing to work in. Guns 1700 AD and beyond could do the trick. Pre, you could try poisoning it or stabbing at it. Slice it with a sword. Drop it a large object on it from above. Around the Egyptian era: you could try burying it alive under the sand, working it to death, dehydrating it in the hot sun, or sacrificing it to a god you worship. (knife + pedestal required)
Finally: I am no historian by any measure, but if you really must exist earlier than that, you could probably just beat it to death with a rock.
These are all very human ways to kill the goldfish.
