Today at work, I was raised from $15/hour to $17/hour and became the Lead Web Developer for our department. I’m extremely pleased with this - especially since it came as a surprise. I’m glad I’m being appreciated for what I do. I love web development. To be paid for doing what I love is wonderful. I have no financial qualms regarding the apartment I’ll be renting for Eve and our kids in mid-November.
I think I should mention that, for the eternal depression your dashboard may appear to be in, I am genuinely happy with life right now.
